Credit wallet and renewals

Each workspace has its own credit wallet. You top it up by card, and the credit can be used to renew your plan. You can also pay for a plan by card with automatic renewal, so it never lapses. Both live at the top of Plans & Billing.

Where to find it

Menu: Plans › Plans & billing — the Workspace credit wallet and Workspace plan cards at the top · Address: hub.siteconnect.ai/billingWho can use it: Admins by default. Others need, for App modules: View to see the balance, Create to top up or pay for a plan, and Edit to manage the card and automatic renewal — see Roles and permissions.

Check your balance

The Workspace credit wallet card shows the credit available, in your wallet's currency — for example 1 credit = 1 CAD. Under the amount you may also see:

  • Includes … bonus credit — credit you received on top of what you paid,
  • … on hold — credit reserved for a payment that's still going through.

The same balance appears as Credit left in the plan badge in the top bar, for people allowed to see billing.

If the card says This workspace’s credit wallet is not set up yet or This workspace’s credit wallet is waiting to be activated, contact Site Connect support (see Get help & send feedback).

Top up credit

  1. Click Top up credit.
  2. Click one of the quick amounts, or type your own in Amount. The line underneath shows the smallest and largest top-up allowed. You get exactly as much credit as you pay.
  3. Click Pay amount. You're taken to Stripe's secure payment page — enter your card details there, not in Site Connect.
  4. After paying, you come back to Plans & Billing. You see Confirming your payment with the payment provider…, then Credit added to your wallet.
  • Changed your mind on the payment page? Go back — you see Payment cancelled — you have not been charged.
  • If it takes longer, you see Your payment is being processed — your balance and plan will update in a few minutes. There's nothing else to do.
  • If Top up credit is greyed out with Card payments are not available yet., card payments aren't open for your workspace yet.

See your wallet history

Click Wallet history. Credit wallet history lists your Top-ups and what was Redeemed, each with its date, time and amount. A top-up that's paid but not yet in the wallet shows as A paid top-up is being added to your wallet.

Renew or buy a plan

  1. In the Workspace plan card, click Renew plan — or Buy a plan if you're on the Free plan.
  2. In Renew or buy a plan, click the plan you want. Each one shows its price per user per month.
  3. Enter the Number of users — the seats you're paying for. It starts at your current number of paid seats (or, on the Free plan, the number of people in the workspace).
  4. Choose the Billing period: Monthly or Yearly. A greyed-out option isn't offered for that plan.
  5. Check the Total per month (or Total per year) and your Wallet balance.
  6. Choose how to pay:
    • Pay with wallet credit — takes the total from your wallet in one go. It can only be used when paying with credit is available for your workspace and your balance covers the total. When it's greyed out, the line under it tells you why — for example Not enough credit — top up to pay from your wallet.
    • Pay by card — renews automatically — takes you to the secure payment page. Your card is charged now and again at the start of every period, until you cancel.
  7. When the payment goes through, you see Payment complete — your plan has been renewed. (by card) or Plan renewed with credit.

Paying for fewer seats than people

If you enter fewer users than your workspace has, the form warns you: This workspace has … users. A …-seat plan will lock the most recently added users. See How seats work.

If you renew the same plan before it runs out, the new period starts when the current one ends — you don't lose any days.

Manage automatic card renewal

When your plan renews by card, the Workspace plan card shows one of these:

MessageWhat it means
Auto-renews by card · next charge on …Everything is running; your card is charged on that date.
Card auto-renewal is off — the plan runs until the end of the paid period. You cancelled. The plan stays active until the period you paid for ends.
Your card was declined at renewal — please update your card. The last charge failed. Update your card soon — your plan gets a few extra days while the payment is retried.

To change the card or cancel automatic renewal, click Manage card & auto-renewal. The secure payment page opens with your subscription; when you're done, it brings you back to Plans & Billing.

A workspace can have only one card subscription. While one is active, Pay by card — renews automatically is greyed out in the renewal form — change or cancel the existing one first.

Good to know

  • The wallet belongs to the workspace. Credit you top up in one workspace is only used there; each of your workspaces has its own wallet — see Workspaces.
  • Watch the expiry date. The Workspace plan card shows Expires on …, turns to Expires soon — on … in the last 30 days, and Expired on … after that.
  • Prices come from Site Connect, not from the form. The total is always worked out for you from the current price list.
