Appearance
Profile (Personal)
The Personal tab is your own corner of the app: your photo and details, your emergency contact, your password and signed-in devices, the app's look and language, your workspaces, and Log out.
Where to find it
App menu: Personal — always on the menu, usually the last tab. You can also tap your photo at the top of Chat. Who can use it: everyone.
Your photo and details
At the top you'll see your photo, your name, your email, and your job title and department.
Change your photo: tap your photo, then Take photo or Choose from library. You'll see Profile photo updated.
Under Account you'll find your Email, Department and Phone number. Press and hold a line to copy it. You can't edit these in the app — if something is wrong, ask your administrator. What you can change yourself on the web is in Personal settings and profile.
Add an emergency contact
- Tap Emergency contact › Manage.
- Tap Add contact.
- Enter the Full name and Phone number, choose the Relationship, and tap Save.
Your company can then reach that person in an emergency. On the list, tap a contact to edit it, or use the buttons beside it to Call or Delete.
Password and signed-in devices
Under Security:
- Change password — enter your Current password, a New password (at least 6 characters) and Confirm new password. After the change you're signed out of every device and sign in again with the new password.
- Sign-in sessions › View — every device where you're signed in. Current marks this phone. Tap Log out next to any other device to sign it out — handy if you lost a phone.
Theme and language
Under Appearance:
- Theme — Light, Dark, or Automatic (follows your phone's setting).
- Display language — English, Español or Français. The app restarts in the new language.
Work time zone
If your company works across time zones, you'll also see Work time zone, with your Time zone and City. The app uses your phone's time zone. If it's wrong, change the time zone in your phone's settings, then come back and tap Update from device.
Switch workspace
If you work for more than one company, the Workspace section lists the workspaces you're signed in to on this phone. The one you have open is at the top.
- Switch: tap another workspace in the list, or tap Switch workspace and pick one of the workspaces your account belongs to.
- Add another one: tap Add workspace, confirm with Continue, and sign in. The workspace you had open stays saved — you can come back to it from here.
- Remove one from this phone: swipe a workspace that isn't open to the left, tap Delete and confirm. You'll need to sign in again to use it.
Push notifications only come from the workspace you have open. More: Workspaces.
Sign out
- Tap Log out at the bottom of the tab.
- Confirm in Sign out of this workspace? by tapping Log out.
If you're still signed in to other workspaces on this phone, you can switch to one of them straight away. If not, you're back on the sign-in screen.
Help & feedback
A Help & feedback entry is coming to the Personal tab in an upcoming app update. It will let you send a question, a bug report, feedback or a feature request — with screenshots — and follow your requests and the replies. Until it reaches your app, you can do all of this on the web: see Get help & send feedback.
Good to know
- App version — shown at the very bottom of the tab, for example v1.6.1+1571. Mention it when you report a problem.
- Notifications — there's no notification switch in the app. To turn all Site Connect notifications on or off, use your phone's settings. To quiet one conversation, see Chat notifications.
- Deleting your account — there's no option for this in the app. Your account belongs to your company's workspace, so ask your administrator.
- Pull down to refresh your details — for example after your administrator changes your job title.
