Pipeline library

A pipeline is a named series of stages, with approve and reject paths between them. The Pipeline library is where these pipelines are stored and designed.

In Site Connect, no feature uses the Pipeline library yet. Tasks, projects and approval requests each set up their own stages in their own settings — see the table below. You don't need to do anything on this page to run your work.

Where to find it

Menu: Utilities › Pipeline library · Address: hub.siteconnect.ai/settings/pipelinesWho can use it: admins, and people whose role includes the Pipeline library permission. See Roles and permissions.

Where to set up stages instead

You want to…Go to
Change the columns of a task board, such as "Waiting for inspection"Task statuses
Set the stages a project moves through, such as "To budget" or "Invoiced"Project settings › Project stages
Decide who approves a request, and in what orderApproval templates › Workflow tab
Change how Kanban boards lookKanban appearance

Changes made in the Pipeline library don't affect any of these.

What you'll see on the page

  • Each pipeline is a card with its name, a preview of its stages, and how many stages, end stages and connections it has. Hover over the stage preview and click Preview to see the whole flow.
  • Your workspace may already list a pipeline that was created along with it. Site Connect doesn't use it — you can leave it as it is.
  • Create new pipeline opens a drag-and-drop builder. Its Type choices are for features that aren't part of Site Connect, so a pipeline you build here has no effect on your work.

Looking for "stages" for your crew's work?

Most of the time, what you want is task statuses: they are the columns tasks move through on the Kanban board.
