Work log (My work)
The My work tab shows the hours you've logged by checking in and out of tasks: your total hours, how many site visits you made, which days you worked, and every visit in detail. Use it to check your time before payday.
Where to find it
App menu: My work — on the default menu, second tab. Who can use it: everyone. You only see your own hours.
Check your hours
- Tap My work.
- Pick a period: 15 days, 30 days (the default) or 90 days. To match an exact pay period, tap the calendar icon (Pick a date range) and choose the start and end dates. Tap the × on the date chip to go back to the quick choices.
- Read the three totals at the top:
- Total hours — written as hours and minutes, for example 8h30.
- Visits — how many times you checked in.
- Days worked — how many days have at least one visit.
Below the totals, a bar chart shows your Hours per day, so you can spot the long days and the days off at a glance.
Totals come from Site Connect
The totals are calculated by Site Connect from all your check-ins in the period — the same numbers your office sees. They don't depend on how many visits the app has loaded.
See each visit
Further down, your visits are grouped by day, then by project. Each day card shows the date and that day's total. Each visit shows the task, the time you checked in and the project, plus:
- a green check-in arrow and an orange check-out arrow — if the check-out arrow is grey, you haven't checked out yet;
- Open instead of a duration while the visit is still running;
- needs review if something about the visit was flagged for your manager to look at.
Tap a visit to open its Site visit details. It has three tabs:
- Task — the task's description, Status, Priority, Due, Start, subtasks and assignees.
- Check-in and Check-out — the exact time (Checked in, Checked out), the Duration, the Location and Distance from the project address (at project address or outside radius), any warning such as mock location, any Note, and the answers to the check-in or check-out form.
When something looks off
- A visit is still Open. You forgot to check out — open the task and tap Check out (see Check out). Open visits are counted separately, so the totals only include finished time. A banner at the top shows how many are open.
- Closed automatically. If you didn't check out, Site Connect closed the visit for you, for example at the task's end time or the end of your company's working hours. The visit explains when it was closed and why. Ask your manager to correct it if the real time was different.
- Something failed — your manager will be alerted. One of your check-in or check-out forms had a failed item. Your manager will follow up.
Good to know
- Only check-ins on tasks count here. If your company also uses the Attendance tab for clocking in and out of shifts, those hours are kept there — see Attendance.
- Pull down to refresh.
- Managers see everyone's check-ins on the web — see Check-in map.
