Get the mobile app
The Site Connect app is where your crew sees their tasks, checks in and out on site, takes photos and sends requests. This page is written for crew members — send them the link, or go through it together on their first morning.
Before you start
- Your company has added you to Site Connect — you can't sign up from the app. If you got an invitation email, open it and select Join now first.
- A phone running a recent version of iOS (iPhone) or Android.
- Your mobile number must be on your employee record if you want to sign in with a text-message code. Ask your manager if you're not sure.
The flow at a glance

1. Install the app
- Open your app store
On an iPhone, open the App Store. On an Android phone, open Google Play.
- Find Site Connect
Search for Site Connect, install the app and open it.
2. Sign in
The app opens on the Welcome back screen. Pick the way that suits you:
- Sign in with your phone (easiest for crews)
- Type the mobile number your company has on file. In Canada and the US just type your 10-digit number.
- Tap Send code.
- Type the Verification code you get by text message and tap Log in.
- Sign in with a password — type your Company email and Password, then tap Log in. Forgot it? Tap Forgot password? to get a reset link by email.
- Continue with Google, or on an iPhone Continue with Apple — if your Site Connect account uses that same email address.
Want the app in another language?
Tap the language button at the top right of the sign-in screen. The app speaks English, Español and Français.
3. First-time setup
Right after you sign in:
- Choose workspace — only if you work for more than one company that uses Site Connect. Pick the one you're working for today; you can switch later.
- Which time zone do you work in? — asked the first time only, if your profile has no time zone yet. Check it and tap That’s right, use this one, or pick another one. Your task times follow it.
- Notifications — when your phone asks, tap Allow. That's how you hear about new tasks and schedule changes.
- Location, camera, microphone — the app asks the first time you check in, take a photo or record a voice note. Allow them, or check-in and photos won't work.
4. Find your way around
The bar at the bottom of the screen holds your tabs. Your company decides which ones you see; usually:
| Tab | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Task | Your tasks day by day — accept them, check in and out, add photos. |
| My work | The hours and site visits you've logged. |
| Project | Your company's projects. |
| Chat | Messages with coworkers and groups. |
| Approvals | Ask for time off and other requests, and follow them. |
| Personal | Your profile, language, workspaces and Log out. |
Some companies also add Schedule (your published schedule and open tasks) and Attendance (clock in and out for the day). See The Site Connect app for the full tour.
5. Your first task
Your manager assigns you a task — you'll get a notification. Then:
- Open the task from the Task tab.
- Tap Accept.
- When you arrive on site, tap Check in.
- Take photos as you work under PHOTOS & FILES.
- When you leave, tap Check out (or Check out & mark as done when the job is finished).
The step-by-step version, with what to do if check-in is refused, is in Check in on the mobile app.
If something doesn't work
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| "No account" or the code never arrives | Ask your manager to check that your phone number is on your employee record, or sign in with email and password instead. |
| You don't see a task your manager says they gave you | Pull down on the list to refresh. A scheduled task only shows up after the schedule is published — ask your manager. |
| There's no Check in button on the task | Check-in is turned off for that project — ask your manager. |
| Check-in says you're too far away | Move closer to the job address, wait for the location to update and tap Get location again. |
| No notifications | Check that notifications for Site Connect are on in your phone's settings, and that you have the right workspace open. |
Still stuck? Ask your manager, or see Get help and send feedback.
