Schedule
The Schedule tab shows the work your scheduler has published for you, week by week. From here you can accept or decline scheduled tasks, check in when you arrive, ask a coworker to cover for you, pick up open tasks, and tell your scheduler when you're busy.
In the app: ›
Where to find it
App menu: Schedule — not on the default menu. Your administrator can add it for everyone, or allow you to add it yourself (see The Site Connect app). Tapping a schedule notification also opens this screen. Who can use it: anyone who gets scheduled. Which buttons you see depends on your company's schedule settings.
The screen is titled Work schedule and has up to four tabs: My tasks, Open tasks, Availability and Team. Availability and Team only appear if your company turns them on.
See your week
- Open Schedule › My tasks.
- Use the arrows (Previous week / Next week) to move between weeks. The header shows how many tasks and hours you have that week. Tap Today to jump back to the current week.
- Tap a day in the strip to see that day's tasks. Each day shows a count of what's on it.
Each scheduled task card shows:
- the time, in bold, and the task name;
- the project and its address — tap Open map for directions;
- the people working with you, if it's a team task;
- the scheduler's note — tap Read the note to see all of it;
- your status — No reply yet, Accepted, Declined or Checked in;
- tags such as Recurring task, the number of attachments, and to-do progress like 2/5 done.
Your regular tasks that have a date show up on their day too — tap one to open it. Tasks with no date are listed at the bottom under No date: open one and pick a date, and it moves onto your schedule.
If nothing is scheduled you'll see Nothing published for this week yet or No tasks on this day.
Open a scheduled task's details
Tap the card. A panel slides up with the full note, the project, any Attachments, and the To-dos for this task. Tick the to-dos off as you finish them.
Answer a task or pick one up

Picking up an open task works like this:

Accept or decline
- Accept
On the task card, tap Accept. You'll see Task accepted.
- Or decline
Tap Decline. You can type a Reason for declining (optional — your scheduler sees it), then tap Decline. The task stays on your schedule until your scheduler moves it.
- Changed your mind?
Tap Withdraw and confirm. The task goes back to "no reply yet".
Your company can switch accept / decline off, or stop people from declining close to the date — then the button isn't there, or the app asks you to tell your scheduler instead. You can also accept or decline from inside the task (see Tasks and check-in).
Check in from the schedule
On the day of the task, a Check in button appears on the card. Tap it when you arrive to let your scheduler know you're there — you'll see Checked in at and the time.
- The button opens a set time before the task starts. Too early, and the app tells you when check-in opens (Check-in opens at a given time).
- The schedule check-in sends your location only if you've already allowed Site Connect to use it — it doesn't ask. If your company requires a location, allow location access for Site Connect in your phone's settings and try again.
Recording your hours
The Check in button on the schedule tells your scheduler you've arrived. Hours on a task are recorded by the check-in card inside the task — open the task and use Check in / Check out there. See Check in on site.
Ask a coworker to cover
- On an upcoming task, tap Ask for cover.
- Add a message for whoever takes it, if you like, and tap Send request.
- You'll see Sent — your coworkers can see this task now. Until someone takes it, the task is still yours — the card shows Waiting for cover.
To change your mind, tap Cancel request on the card. Depending on your company's settings, a manager may have to approve the swap first (Someone took it · waiting for manager approval).
Pick up open tasks
Open Schedule › Open tasks.
- Coworkers need cover lists tasks your coworkers asked someone to take. Tap Take this task.
- Open tasks lists tasks nobody has picked up yet — take one and it's yours. Tap Take this task. You'll see This task is now yours, or Sent — waiting for your manager to approve if your company approves pickups.
- My requests shows the requests you've sent and where they stand — Waiting for approval, Waiting for someone, Approved, Not approved or Cancelled. Tap Cancel request to withdraw one.
- If your company sets a Weekly minimum, a card shows how many more tasks you need to take, or Minimum reached.
If a task overlaps one you already have, the app may stop you (You already have another task at that time.).
Mark when you're busy
If your company turns it on, the Availability tab lets you tell your scheduler when you can and can't work.
- Open Schedule › Availability.
- Tap a day. To pick several days, press and hold.
- Choose Busy all day, Busy for part of the day (then set Busy from and Busy until), or Want to work. Tap Clear to remove a mark.
Time off entered by your manager shows as Time off and can't be changed here.
See the team
If your company turns it on, the Team tab shows who on your team works on the selected day. Your company may hide names — coworkers then appear as Coworker.
Good to know
- Your scheduler builds and publishes the schedule on the web — see Scheduling and Publish and share the schedule.
- Pull down to refresh. The schedule also updates on its own when your scheduler changes something.
